Fear is something you might not think about too often but I guarantee that any problems in your life have some form of fear at their heart. If you want more happiness in your life or even a particular area of your life then take a 30 minute break to watch this video.
If the first thing you think is that you don’t have 30 minutes to watch a video then no wonder you are unhappy….
Maybe you think happiness is something that will happen “later” when you have all of your ducks in a row…
Maybe you think you aren’t worthy of being happy…
You probably already know that there are some things you should stop worrying about but I want you to think about it differently.
I deliberately used the words “should stop worrying” but I actually seriously dislike the word “should”.
When a client tells me “I should do x” my alarm bells go off. In fact I sometimes still catch myself using the should word BUT now I know to stop and think about why I use that word rather than saying something like “I will…” or “I want to…”
I want you to take a moment to think about the power of perspective…
Where you ever told to “stop showing off” when you were a child? Do you find it difficult as an adult to “show up and shine”?
Have you ever thought that the 2 are highly likely to be related? If you have trouble achieving your goals then it will be limiting beliefs holding us back.

Fear of rejection was a challenge for me for a long time but it didn’t really cause any problems until I started my business.
I am passionate about learning so not only had I learned my craft (coaching) but I had studied the marketing and business side of it too. I knew what to do, when to do it and how to do it. The only problem was…
I didn’t do it!
I had lots great reasons why I didn’t do it. I had lots of EXCUSES!
My reasons were things like:
You may have heard the expression “stop shoulding all over yourself” but how do you do that?
When you learn to change your “shoulds” into “coulds” you shift away from being a victim to your beliefs. It is the first step in training your brain to make empowered decisions.
Most of my clients use it a lot when they first start to work with me. Continue reading
Never mind love and hate, there is a very fine line between fear and excitement. That’s what makes us love rollercoasters, skydiving, and fast cars!
In many situations , it is a lifesaver. It stimulates the production of the adrenaline we need to fight, or run for our lives if we find ourselves in a dangerous or threatening situation. But on the flip side, we often find ourselves self-generating fearful thoughts, in response to a situation that has not actually happened. The acronym FEAR – False Evidence Appearing Real sums this up perfectly. Continue reading
